Author's note: I decided to write about this, because in one of the books I read, every chapter had a quote or poem, and I thought that I should use this quote in my creative piece.

If there are a thousand enemies outside you have a chance of escaping, if there is one enemy inside the house they could hide anywhere in the house and capture you.

Point of view Essay

Crunch, crunch, crunch, the gumball is depleting and shifting into gum. The gum in poured out of the container, rolling out one by one, waiting to be eaten. Each gumball a different flavor, each a different color. Some are unique some are plain. Combinations with other gumballs, white and red, blue and pink, unlimited possibilities. Each combination better than the next, each with different color combinations as well. The possibilities are endless, you can do any combination you want, the choice is yours. You can have more than two in a combination, but just hope you don't go crazy with it. Gum is like your favorite food, if you if you eat it, then it is gone. Gum comes in all different flavors and colors, and also they come in different shapes as well.

Wrapped Gifts

Author's note: We knew that we had to write about presents, because we are so close to Christmas.
 
Have you ever been so exited, when it is Christmas and you see presents wrapped in Christian colors. I wish that it was Christmas, so that I could open my presents, so that I can see my little brother’s face when he opens his first Christmas present, and then see my family members that I haven’t seen in a while.

Elves

Authors note: We wrote this in our writing circles, because we are so into the holiday spirit right now.
   Would you imagine tiny people that help, by making toys for kids? That is what Elves do, they help Santa by making toys for little children. I would like to be an elf so I could make toys, that sounds like fun to toys, such as bikes and other things that little kids enjoy.

Why Should You Read

Author's note: I wanted to write about why people should read, because reading is important in life.

            Have you read a book that you just couldn’t put down? I have seen a lot of books that I can’t put down. I know that one of my relatives that has read a lot of books that they read rapidly. People should be able to read a lot more. Some people don’t have time and some people just don’t like books. Some of the people I know truly love books. There are some books that I want to read, but they are unavailable. Almost every book that I read I think that the book looks remarkable. Collaboration is important to reading books so that you can talk to people about what the book is about, and what they thought about a book.

            Following this further, books aren’t read as much as they should be. People don’t respect how books affect your writing. For my part I didn’t understand it much. Books do affect people’s writing. People, who are great writers, are a good reader for the most part. Some books are history, written by hand, most books are written now. We make more books now; because we have computers and editors who are good at their job.

            At first you could only read from books, now you can read from kindles, iPods, and still books. The books that people write are amazing, and yet some other people don’t write very high-quality books. I don’t see eye to eye when something happens that doesn’t add up in the story. I would read extra if I had more time, but sometimes activities are planned or other times people just don’t want to read. Would you ever stop to read if you had some free time? I know that I would if I had more free time. Reading is one of the most important things to do with writing. You have to read to see other peoples’ writing style, so you most likely would apply it in your writing.

            Do you know any people that hate reading? Reading is good for everybody, you should read every day. People read a lot, and they may not notice it, people read when they watch sports games and you look at the score, that is reading; you read when you look at prices at stores, and in addition you read when you read directions. Reading is important to people, so that we can read and not just wonder what something says. If someone reads a lot, there is a possibility that they would also be a good writer, if someone doesn’t read so much; the likelihood that they are great writers is low.

            All in all, if someone doesn’t read, then it is a possibility that they won’t be able to read some material that may perhaps be important or somewhat they might need it. Reading is needed for most jobs today, if they can’t read well or fast they won’t be very good at their job. The only thing that I am saying is that, reading is very vital to everybody will need this in their future. I hope that anybody who reads this realizes that reading is important.

Santa

Authors note: We decided to write about Santa, because we are in the holiday spirit, since we were in the holiday spirit we knew that we were going to write about Santa.

Also gives people presents
Never lets kids down
Totally awesome to receive from
Awesome and will never let me down

Ghosts

Authors Note: We decided to write about ghosts, because one of our group members has been reading mostly ghost books recently, so we knew that we had to write about ghosts.

Horrifying to some people
Openly scare you
Scare people out of their minds
Torture people to scare them
