Human are Not the Same

Author's Note: In this story I will talk about how having robots can be good, yet they can be bad at the same time. I worked on not summarizing the story and comparing other books, movies, or real world situations in this story.

Is it possible for humans to live on different planets? In this short story called Humans are Different was written by Alan Bloch. The human is sick and the robot thinks he can repair him, but he has to shut him down first. The robot was wrong, he couldn’t fix the human and instead the robot killed him. Robots and human are similar, but they never will be the same.

To begin with the book is similar to movies like the terminator, transformers, and wall-e. In the terminator the robots take over the world just like in humans are different the robots are the only thing left and there are barely any humans. Although in transformers the robots are trying to take over the world. It’s similar although they are trying to save people and destroy them at the same time.

Having robots can be a good thing; they can help us in surgery. Robots can create things that we need or what we use every day like cars and they create other things. They help us in dangerous surgeries to measure their brain activity and their heartbeat. They can help us with everyday tasks like the Roomba which is an automatic vacuum that can help you with cleaning. The Roomba is a vacuum cleaner that needs no plug, no one to push it, and the best part is it won’t hit a wall.

On the other hand having robots can be bad at the same time. They don’t have brains so they can’t think, they always need to be in control or something bad could happen. Robots can work and they can’t think; robots can malfunction badly. If we don't test them before present them to the public eye.

Again I say robots are different, we can be healed but we can't be repaired like robots. Robots cannot ever be like humans, but they can do tasks or help us with everyday tasks. Some robots can act like humans, but they can never be exactly like us. Though robots and humans act the same sometimes, they will never be the same
