The Kane Heroes

Author’s Note: I wrote about The Red Pyramid because I had already read a book called The Lost Hero they were similar, but a little different. In this assessment I worked on using better vocabulary and I also tried to compare The Red Pyramid to The Lost Hero.
Could it be possible to cast spells? Possibly to host a God within your body? Possibly to destroy the God or Goddess? In The Red Pyramid by: Rick Riordan all of that is possible to do. Carter Kane and his sister Sadie Kane embark on an adventure to destroy “The Red Lord” also known as Set and his Red pyramid to save the world. They have a God's soul inside of them, able to use their power. They were called hosts when parts of the God’s soul were in them allowing them to have great power. Is anything truly possible in this book or is it just made up?

Both The Red Pyramid and The Lost Hero have their differences I am going to talk about how they are similar to each other. Although The Lost Hero is about the Greek Gods of Olympus and The Red Pyramid is about the Egyptians Gods they are similar. In The Lost Hero they have Tartarus which is controlled by Hades and The Red Pyramid has the Duat and the Hall of judgment which is similar.  They both embark on journeys that are similar to save the world. The difference is that The Red Pyramid is to destroy a God, and The Lost Hero they save a Goddess. Also in both stories they discover similar events that are about to happen. In The Lost Hero Giants are going to rise and destroy Mount Olympus and the Gods. The Red Pyramid however the serpent called Apophis has escaped the Duat and is going to destroy the world and take over all creation.

Although The Red Pyramid and The Lost Hero don’t forget about the differences. The Gods in The Lost Hero are just the main Gods like Zeus God of the Sky or Poseidon God of the Sea. Instead in The Red Pyramid they have Gods or Goddesses for basically everything. Also in both books they have powers that are different, The Lost Hero they are demigods with some of their Godly parents powers. In both books they have to face different problems and different items they need to finish their quest. The Lost Hero they need to need to retrieve the Golden Fleece and The Red Pyramid has to retrieve a feather of truth and the secret name of Set.

The book does include some things that people do in the World. They worship the Gods and goddesses of Egypt, although we worship whatever God is in our religion. In our planet we like to watch basketball and play it as well, in The Red Pyramid baboons love to play basketball. The Red Pyramid is a lot like the world and what we do every day. People in the world sometimes believe in legends or myths; there are a lot of myths and legends in the world. Some people believe in things like Bigfoot or possibly events they think can happen.

Again I say is it anything possible in this book or is it just made up? If any of this possible is it performed around the world? Has this been possible or any of this possible back when the Egyptians ruled Egypt? I would be scared if all of this would happen now. Although the whole thing in this book seems like it could truly happen they will not happen in the future or present.
