Imagine Fighting the immortal Titan Atlas, and ending up taking Atlas’s place in holding up the skies. Thats what Percy Jackson had to do in The Titans Curse by Rick Riordan. The person point of view in this book is Percy Jackson. Percy Jackson embarks on a journey through various magical places to get to his quest objective. I know that Percy Jackson has the main point of view in this story.
Although Percy is the main point of view there are some other point of views in this book. The other people who have a point of view is Annabeth and Grover; Percy’s Friends from camp. Also the gods have a little bit of the point of view but not much. Annabeth and Grover go along with percy on his quest.
Although Grover’s and Annabeth’s point of view is interesting don’t forget about Percy’s point of view. Percy’s point of view is that the Titans are evil and that some of the gods are only able to talk to their kids at certain times. Percy’s father poseidon can barely see him because he is one of the big three gods. Most of the other demigods don’t see their parents as much either but Percy sees his father the least.
From these point of views the reader feels that percy is the leader of them and he goes through a lot of dangerous tasks. The reader should feel like the gods never help their children and that they just watch what they do. The reader also should feel that Annabeth and Grover are Percy’s friends and helpers.
Because of what Percy's point of view is the reader feels trust for Percy Jackson. The way the reader feels toward the gods is that they are good but they barely help their demigod children. The reader feels hate and rage toward the giants and the titans because the titans are trying to take over the world and they are trying to destroy the gods.
All in all if the story was in a different point of view like if it was from Bianca’s who is another character it would be completely different. Her point of view would be that they have to go and save Artemis and nothing else because she is one of her followers. Bianca would only want to save Artemis for the sake of her cult. All in all Percy has the main point of view and if it was in any other persons point of it would be told differently.
